Unique Properties
Dirty clothes storage is an indispensable household item for the family, and the Percy dirty clothes storage series hopes to provide users with a more humanized experience and a choice that is more suitable for the home space. Unlike traditional fabric laundry baskets, Percy chose to use a natural and minimalist pattern unique to imitation rattan, teslin and cotton rope to perfectly solve the problem of damp and moldy in the bathroom laundry room.

Production Technology
Percy dirty clothes storage series frame uses sturdy, corrosion-resistant metal pipes and particleboard tabletops, the surface material of the dirty clothes storage basket is three, namely natural style imitation rattan, teslin and cotton rope, the production process is mature, imitation rattan and teslin are usually used in outdoor products The material is waterproof and moisture-proof, durable and non-toxic, and will not be moldy and rotten because of the humid environment, so it is completely suitable for bathroom and laundry scenes.
Design Challenge
The biggest challenge in the process of realization and research is how to solve the problem of mildew and rot in the humid environment encountered in the storage of dirty clothes, and how to make the product better adapt to the home environment. The design must take into account the needs of different users for laundry storage, such as basic laundry storage needs and laundry storage needs with additional functions.
Project Duration
The project started in Zhengzhou in March 2024 and was completed in September 2024.
Operation Flow
The framed laundry basket of the Percy laundry organizer series can be pulled out directly without moving the frame and the top storage table, which is easy to use and hide. Imitation rattan and teslin are waterproof, so they can be scrubbed directly if they are dirty. The 360-degree swivel casters help you move your laundry basket full of laundry with ease, plus all wheels are lockable to prevent accidental movement.
Research
Since most of the laundry baskets are made of fabric, the disposal rate is high. There are very few products on the market that can meet the requirements of functionality, durability and aesthetics at the same time, and this time Percy has a small laundry organizer in addition to a laundry basket. Percy also solves the problem of dirty laundry baskets becoming moldy due to dampness and fitting into the home space.
Inspiration
Usually fabric laundry baskets are consumables because they are easily damaged by mold and mildew when left in the damp space of bathrooms and laundry rooms for a long time. We hope to have a laundry basket that solves the above problems, and to provide customers with beautiful and durable products by re-endowing them with new materials and functions, as well as a series of storage products. Reduce product replacement due to objective reasons, and make the product more beautiful and durable.
Project Overview
Percy Laundry Hamper has been a Iron winner in the Furniture Design award category in the year 2024 organized by the prestigious A' Design Award & Competition.
