The Chill Refresh is the perfect add on to the C300 for a true hot and cold all in one beverage system. The design is made from well refined elements creating a professional yet sensual product.

Design Challenge
The two products had to be designed following a modular approach, making sure that they will complement each other and work together also visually.
Project Duration
The project was designed in Italy. The complete product development from initial concept to final product took about three years.
Operation Flow
Choose your drink from the menu. Place your cup on the stand, open the brewer door, insert the fresh pack, select start and the brewer does the rest. Letting you know once it is done and leaving you with a drink that will make every day a little more special. It is really that easy. And because it brews directly from pack to cup there is no cross contamination from anything that has been brewed before. It is easy to manage and maintain. The Flavia IQ smart technology and online portal let you manage drinks and consumption data in a fraction of the time.
Research
Development process through conceptual and formal research, 3D modelling, physical mock-ups, prototyping.
Inspiration
The design evolves the existing form language of Flavia and provides a vision for the future line up of the brand. The two modules complement each other and are a perfect match. All surfaces and volumes are precisely controlled with strong and stable main body and soft sensual transitions of the intersecting volumes. The acceleration and curvature of the lines and surfaces are fluid and sensual. Materials colours and finishes were chosen to reflect the professional setting they operate in. Special attention was placed on all areas that require direct user interaction. Be it at the front or at the rear.
