Unique Properties

The juicer can be a decoration when not in use, which breaks through the traditional form of juicers. It is no longer passively stacked on cabinet, but being a product that can be integrated into home atmosphere.The shape of the vase is formed by the longitudinal storage of the juice squeezing cup, grinding cup, cover and motor, for saving the storage space, and being a practical artwork decoration. The juice cup can also be used as a carry on cup to meet multiple scenarios.

Production Technology

The high-speed fine copper motor drives the drive wheel and drive plate to operate. Plastic components are made of maternal and infant friendly Tritan material, which is safe, antibacterial, residue resistant, and protects the safety of beverages.

Design Challenge

The challenge in the design process is to find a design solution that combines the highest level of aesthetics, functionality, and sustainability. Therefore, the project aims to achieve clever storage, diverse scenes, and green circulation of products through its unique design.

Project Duration

The project started in January 2023 in Guangzhou.

Operation Flow

The multifunctional juicer is designed to provide a simple and user-friendly experience. The product has three usage states: grinding state, juice extraction state, and storage state.

Research

Through a series of surveys and in-depth interviews, design research has shown that the younger generation of consumers is bringing new consumption needs. User needs are no longer simply pursuing functional satisfaction, but increasingly valuing the cultural connotations and emotional experiences brought by products. Therefore, this juicer is designed to meet these needs while providing a unique user experience, becoming a carrier for improving quality of life and enriching user aesthetic taste.

Inspiration

The product's appearance draws inspiration from the elegant and minimalist vase, forming a design that combines functionality with minimalist aesthetics. The shape of the juicer is formed by the longitudinal storage of the juice squeezing cup, grinding cup, cover and motor, for saving the storage space, and being a practical artwork decoration, with an impressive aesthetic.

Project Overview

Vase Multifunctional Juicer has been a Bronze winner in the Home Appliances Design award category in the year 2023 organized by the prestigious A' Design Award & Competition. The Bronze A' Design Award is given to outstanding designs that showcase a high degree of creativity and practicality. It recognizes the dedication and skill of designers who produce work that stands out for its thoughtful development and innovative use of materials and technology. These designs are acknowledged for their professional execution and potential to influence industry standards positively. Winning this award highlights the designer's ability to blend form and function effectively, offering solutions that enhance people's lives and wellbeing.
